Reviews
- annoying_basilThe lamb is sliced fresh right in front of you and goes into the hotpot right away — super tender, no gamey taste at all, literally melts in your mouth. And the secret sesame sauce they give you? Insanely fragrant and flavorful. The pot is a traditional copper one just bubbling away with steam rising off it, and the whole place has that classic old Beijing vibe going on — wooden tables and chairs, vintage decor, honestly felt like I time-traveled for a sec. Quick tip though, watch the timing when you're cooking the lamb, especially the "diao long" cut — leave it a few seconds too long and it gets tough. The staff was really on top of things, kept refilling our tea without us even asking, and even brought out some yogurt on the house which was honestly so good and creamy. Overall super satisfied with the meal, ingredients tasted fresh and the flavors are legit authentic. Would totally come back.
