Reviews
- pumpkin_stoatYunhai Yao at Dongzhimen — the old original spot, easy to find in the basement of the Ginza mall. The place is pretty roomy with Yunnan-style decor, staff were super friendly, and food came out fast. The signature steam pot chicken is legit, super tender chicken in this rich, slightly sweet broth that just hits different on a cold day. The black truffle minced pork (basically a stir-fry) is classic comfort food, amazing mixed into rice. The mini pot rice noodles are a must-order every time, flavor's always on point. Honestly the black sugar tofu pudding blew me away — so silky and served cold, perfect for summer. Went on a weekend peak hour and didn't really have to wait, which was nice. Good for hanging with friends or a family meal, and the price per person is super reasonable. Will definitely be back.
