Dishes
Hand-grab SeafoodHand-grab seafood is a dish featuring fresh seafood like shrimp, crab, and shellfish, typically steamed or grilled with simple seasonings to preserve natural flavors. Eaten by hand, it emphasizes interaction and authentic taste.
Grilled Pork Belly StripRoasted pork heart slices is a barbecue dish primarily made with pork heart meat. To prepare it, the pork heart is cut into appropriate sizes, marinated with a specially formulated barbecue sauce to infuse flavor, then slowly grilled over charcoal until the surface turns golden and the meat becomes tender and juicy.
Grilled Yellow CroakerGrilled yellow croaker is a dish primarily made with yellow croaker. To prepare it, first clean the fish thoroughly, then marinate it to infuse flavor. Next, place the fish on a grill and slowly roast over medium heat until both sides turn golden brown. Finally, sprinkle with spices.
Steamed Yellow ClamsSteamed yellow clams is a dish made with fresh yellow clams, quickly blanched in boiling water. After washing, clams are boiled in water with ginger and cooking wine to remove fishy smell and enhance aroma, then removed when shells slightly open to retain their tender texture.
Lamb SkewersLamb skewers are made by cutting fresh, tender lamb into chunks, threading them onto bamboo or metal skewers, and marinating before grilling directly over charcoal. During grilling, the lamb's fat drips onto the fire, creating smoke that熏 (smokes) the meat, resulting in a crispy exterior and tender interior with rich aroma.
Steamed SeafoodSteamed seafood is a dish primarily made with fresh seafood ingredients, commonly including shrimp, crab, shellfish, and fish slices. After cleaning the ingredients thoroughly, arrange them on a steaming dish, add aromatics such as ginger slices and scallions to remove fishy odors, then steam over high heat in a steamer until fully cooked, preserving the natural flavors of the ingredients.
Spicy Potato SlicesSpicy potato slices is a home-style dish mainly made from potatoes. The potatoes are sliced thinly, deep-fried until golden and crispy, then stir-fried with chili, garlic, and other seasonings to create a deliciously spicy and fragrant flavor.
Reviews
- Glenn_6The place is tucked inside the Caoqiao morning market, just head east when you walk in (you can also enter from outside). It's a small spot, not huge, but clean and tidy. The service is super warm, and this northeastern guy who runs it is seriously friendly, always up for a little chat whenever we go. Honestly though, the real star is the food, everything tastes amazing and the ingredients are really fresh! They cook it right in front of you, super hot and bubbling, and the flavor is kinda sweet and savory? We grabbed a deal online and got a huge pot for the price. Oh and the wasabi dipping sauce on the side is killer, honestly makes the whole thing. For what you pay, it's a total steal, definitely coming back.
