  This place totally lives up to its reputation as an old classic. We came here after checking out Lama Temple and it was only a few minutes walk, super easy to find. The whole vibe inside is old Beijing style, really cozy and atmospheric. You have to order the signature grilled beef, the staff grills it for you right at the table and the meat is so tender, comes with these sesame buns and a special dipping sauce that tastes super authentic. The mao tofu was fried in lamb fat with chili oil on top and had that legit traditional flavor. Staff were all really friendly and the food came out fast, they even explained how to eat everything properly. Honestly the food, the service, the whole atmosphere all matched up with it being a famous heritage brand. Perfect spot to bring friends and try real Beijing-style grill.
