Reviews
- microscopic_reedJust had some handmade xiaolongbao in the city center and wow, the skin was so thin I could almost see through it. Bit into one and the hot soup just burst out everywhere, super juicy and packed with flavor. They also bring out these pickled veggies on the side, unlimited refills, kind of sour and spicy which was perfect for cutting through all the richness. The soy milk they make fresh is really good too, nice strong soybean taste and a little salty which I wasn't expecting but totally worked. You can watch the guys wrapping the dumplings right in front of you which is honestly half the fun, feels so lively and real. The pork filling tasted super fresh and every single one was just bursting with soup. Honestly one of the best things I've eaten on this whole trip, I get why everyone's obsessed with these now.
