Reviews
- fastidious_fennelOkay so I went to this place called Ziguangyuan and honestly didn't expect much but it was such a pleasant surprise!! The value here is insane, whether you're ordering off the menu or grabbing a deal, the prices are super reasonable and the portions are huge. My friend and I got a set meal for two and we could barely finish it. The Peking duck is a must — crispy skin, tender meat, perfect fat-to-lean ratio, and they even give you the duck frame to take home which is a nice touch. The kung pao chicken and the egg and wood ear stir fry were both really well done, tasted super authentic. But honestly the standout for me was their handmade yogurt and the sticky rice cake dessert — like wow. The yogurt is so thick and rich, and the rice cake is loaded with good stuff and not too sweet. Perfect way to end the meal. Place is clean, service is friendly, food comes out fast, and we went on a weekday and basically walked right in. Great for hanging out with friends or a casual family dinner. It's the kind of spot you remember when you just can't think of what to eat and wanna go somewhere reliable. Will definitely be back.
