Reviews
- mocha_black_riceWe went to the Wanda in Tongzhou to catch a movie and figured we should grab dinner first, so we just wandered into this place on a whim. The vibe is super pretty — like a little Jiangnan courtyard with lanterns, plants, and wooden tables everywhere. Felt really cozy and chill, and yeah obviously I had to take a few pics lol. For food — the Dongpo braised pork was insane, like the fat and lean just melt in your mouth, not greasy at all, sweet and savory, super comforting. The truffle crispy tofu was a surprise too, super crunchy outside and then it kind of bursts inside. The shrimp and chive pancakes were also great, thin and crispy with a really fresh, savory flavor. Service was genuinely attentive, they kept refilling our tea and swapping out plates without us even asking, and the food came out pretty fast. Price-wise it's a really good deal for the area. Honestly if you're around Tongzhou and craving Jiangzhe food just go here, you won't regret it. Works great for hanging with friends or a family dinner too.
