- gawky_robinThis dim sum place is near Beixinqiao and it's a pretty well-known Chinese pastry shop. The matcha cheese pastry had a super crispy outside with a rich, creamy cheese filling — not too sweet at all, which I really appreciated. The "ti huo" cheese pastry (kinda hard to describe, but trust me it's good) was super milky and literally melted in my mouth, such a smooth texture. They also had a purple rice and taro cheese dessert that wasn't overly sweet and tasted really refreshing with the sweet fermented rice on top. Got some as gifts for my coworkers and the packaging was actually really nice — felt like proper souvenirs. The shop itself isn't huge but they've got a solid selection of stuff, and I went on a weekday afternoon so no line at all, super easy to swing by.
