The roast duck is a must-order — duck skin dipped in sugar literally melts in your mouth, not greasy at all, and the meat was super tender. The sides and sauce tasted really authentic too. We also tried this creative tomato crispy mushroom salad that was a surprise hit, like fried mushrooms with walnuts, super light and crunchy with a lot going on. They gave us a duck soup on the house and it had a strong peppery kick, perfect for warming up in winter. If you check in on your phone you can get a free dessert, the hawthorn candy fruit was really good, sweet and tangy, woke up the whole meal. The space is big and bright, service was attentive, and we got there before 11:30 with basically no line. Good value overall, great for hanging with friends or family dinner. Definitely a solid pick for roast duck and creative Beijing-style food.
