Reviews
- gawky_acornFound this place tucked away on the 4th floor of an outlet mall and honestly the old Beijing decor got me right away — wooden tables and chairs, old-school paintings on the walls, really nice vibe. Ordered the zhajiang noodles and they were legit, chewy noodles with a rich fried sauce, plus shredded cucumber and radish on top, super authentic. The staff was really friendly too, they brought out this almond tofu on the house and it was silky smooth, not heavy at all. The douzhi (that fermented mung bean drink everyone talks about) was a happy surprise — sour but not too much, kinda had this sweet aftertaste. Also got some grilled lamb skewers, really flavorful with that smoky charcoal taste. Whole experience was just super chill, I'd definitely come back.
