- Jamie_24A friend had told me this place was really authentic northeastern-style, so we had to try it. Super glad we did — the braised goose and the catfish were both packed with flavor, the broth was super rich and tasted amazing with the steamed buns and the little pancakes they put around the edge of the pot. The inside looks just like a farmhouse up north, with those red and green floral prints everywhere and wooden beams on the ceiling. Honestly the vibe was so on point. Our server was awesome too, kept topping up the broth without us even asking. I was kinda expecting it to be really greasy but the side stuff was actually pretty light — the dried green beans and enoki mushrooms especially just sucked up all that flavor. Definitely coming back.
