Reviews
- Phoenix_3This place totally lives up to its rep as a classic Beijing cuisine spot. The decor is super unique, lighting is bright, and the service is really on point. The must-order is definitely the premium Peking duck — the skin is so crispy you can dip it in sugar and it literally melts in your mouth, and the duck meat is tender too. Honestly I'd come back twice a month just for that. The boiled fish (shui zhu yu), sweet and sour pork ribs, and fa gao (steamed sponge cake) were all pretty solid too, and my kids absolutely loved them. After they moved to the new location the vibe is way better than the old shop — tons of private rooms, great for family dinners or hanging out with friends. The staff are super friendly, food comes out fast, and they'll even bring you snacks while you wait plus give you the menu ahead of time. Great value overall. Just make sure you book ahead, especially on weekends!!
