- Harper_4I had tried the one at Hesheng Hui before, so when I came to Chaoyang Joy City I figured I'd check this one out too. Place is pretty simple, kinda fast-food style setup. There's a self-serve sauce station with a bunch of Guizhou-style chili condiments, some pickled veggies, and fish mint (the herb, not actual fish lol). For the lamb noodles you can pick between round noodles or flat noodles — round is the thin one on the menu, flat is the wider rice noodle. Honestly the broth here tasted richer and more fragrant than the Hesheng Hui location. Only thing I missed was the pickled cabbage that the other spot had. Oh and if you're still hungry you can get free noodle refills, which is wild, but honestly the first portion was already huge and I was stuffed. Great value, would definitely recommend!
