- curious_redwoodWe went with the pumpkin chicken broth as our base and honestly it was amazing — super fragrant and sweet, and the chicken that cooked in it was so tender. We also got the meatball platter which had a few different kinds and they were all worth trying. The cilantro beef balls were a standout, really nice texture and the cilantro flavor came through without being overpowering. But the real surprise was the gong vegetable salted egg yolk pork balls — bite into them and there's a whole salted egg yolk inside, so many layers going on. Everything is bought and prepped fresh, you can tell, and there were tons of veggie options too. Eating hotpot while basically browsing a market was such a cool experience, really different from the usual setup. Staff were also great, kept adding broth whenever we needed it. Overall super comfy meal, would totally come back.
