Honestly if you're clumsy with your hands you can totally have the shop do it for you, just open the oyster, rub the pearls clean, pick a design, and hand everything over to the nice lady who runs the place. We managed to use every single pearl we got, and on top of the free pearl earrings she threw in, we ended up making five pieces of jewelry total — two bracelets, two necklaces, and a ring. Of course it really depends on the shape and color of the pearls you pull out, kind of like opening a mystery box, pure luck! The little accessories and fittings cost extra, though the combo does come with some simple ones included. If you want to use all your pearls it adds up fast — we ended up spending 926. But honestly the most important thing is just having fun with it!
