Reviews
- boundless_deerHonestly this place is worth a special trip. It's tucked into the first floor of the Taipeng building, super low-key but feels fancy inside, lots of space, and the private rooms are really nicely set off from everything else. We went for a family dinner but it would also be perfect for a business thing or any occasion where you want a nicer setting. The food is Hunan and Cantonese fusion with a creative twist, and the presentation is honestly gorgeous, like little works of art on the plate. The fish offal with hand-torn tofu was so fresh and spicy, seriously addictive. And the braised beef short ribs had amazing texture, super tender but still had that nice chew. But honestly the service was the real standout. Our server was so attentive, kept refilling our water without us even asking, walked us through every dish, and even offered to take photos for us. Really felt taken care of. For the price, the whole experience totally delivers. Just make sure to book a private room ahead of time, they go fast. If you need a spot that feels a little more upscale, this is the one.
