Reviews
- Quinn_3Checked out Fengyi Zhai (丰益斋), a halal spot, and wow the menu is huge — everything from bao du (爆肚, basically quick-tripsy offal) to meat pies. Went during dinner rush and it was packed, which is always a good sign that the food's legit. Service is pretty no-frills but honestly for the price it's a total win, perfect for a casual meal or hanging out with friends. Would def come back for the grilled skewers (烤串儿), Jingdong meat pies (京东肉饼), bao san yang (爆三样, a trio of offal stir-fry), the Beijing-style fish wraps (京味带鱼卷饼), the lamb meatball clay pot (砂锅羊肉丸子), their random stir-fry of the day (丰益斋随便炒), and the tomato brisket stew (红果番茄牛腩). Solid spot, nothing fancy but really good eats.
