The French AOP butter croissant-style dough was incredible — super flaky, like it just shattered in my hands, and you could really taste that rich hazelnut butter in every layer. The filling is made with Iranian pistachios, super smooth and creamy, but when you bite in you get these big chunks of nuts that are still a little crunchy, so it's this whole mix of soft and crunchy in your mouth. And the outside has this slightly caramelized, toasty flavor that makes the filling taste even more rich and buttery. Honestly one of the best things I ate the whole trip.
