  Brought my kid here and it was honestly perfect for a family day out. We hit the main lawn in the morning and just let her run around with a kite and a frisbee — she had the best time. So many shady spots too, so even with summer heat it didn't feel too brutal. There's a walking path where I jogged a bit in the afternoon and some exercise equipment along the way, which was a nice bonus. And if you come around sunset, oh my god the sky turns this crazy orange color with the clouds, super photogenic. No reservation needed, and it's pretty close to the subway, which makes everything way easier. Definitely coming back.
