Dishes
Ice JellyIce jelly is a traditional dessert made from ice jelly seeds, processed into transparent gel-like blocks. To prepare it, the blocks are cut into细条 or small pieces and mixed with ingredients such as brown sugar syrup, sesame seeds, crushed peanuts, and fruit pieces. It has a smooth, refreshing texture that cools and refreshes the body.
Mixed Vegetable SaladA colorful cold dish made with fresh vegetables such as lettuce, cucumber, tomato, and purple cabbage. The preparation is simple: wash and slice the vegetables, then mix with a specially prepared dressing to retain their original texture and nutritional value.
Wide Rice NoodlesWide rice noodles, a broad ribbon-shaped vermicelli made from sweet potato starch. Typically, the wide rice noodles are soaked in warm water to soften them before being stir-fried or added to soups with meats and vegetables. They have a smooth, tender texture that absorbs broth well, enhancing the overall flavor.
Grilled SkewersSkewers are primarily made by cutting meat (such as lamb, beef, or chicken) or vegetables (like bell peppers, onions, and eggplant) into small pieces, threading them onto bamboo skewers, marinating them, and then grilling over charcoal or an electric grill.
Grilled FishGrilled fish is made from fresh fish, marinated and then grilled on a rack until golden and crispy. It is served with a variety of vegetables and spices, creating an appealing color and aroma.
Lamb SkewersLamb skewers are made by cutting fresh, tender lamb into chunks, threading them onto bamboo or metal skewers, and marinating before grilling directly over charcoal. During grilling, the lamb's fat drips onto the fire, creating smoke that熏 (smokes) the meat, resulting in a crispy exterior and tender interior with rich aroma.
Sweet and Sour PeanutsPeanuts in aged vinegar is a cold dish made by mixing shelled, boiled peanuts with vinegar, sugar, salt, garlic, and a touch of chili for flavor.
SpinachSpinach is a dish primarily made with fresh spinach as the main ingredient. The preparation typically involves washing the spinach, then quickly stir-frying it in hot oil, adding适量 salt and seasonings, and cooking until the spinach becomes tender and vibrant in color.
Bamboo ShootsBamboo shoots are primarily made from fresh bamboo shoots, which are washed and cut into segments, then cooked with simple seasonings such as salt and cooking oil through steaming or stir-frying, preserving the original fragrance and crisp texture of the bamboo shoots.
Duck BloodDuck blood dishes use fresh duck blood as the main ingredient, carefully prepared through skilled cooking. Typically, the duck blood is cut into pieces and cooked together with seasonings and ingredients such as scallions, ginger, and garlic to maintain its tender texture. Cooking methods may include boiling, stewing, or stir-frying, allowing the duck blood to fully absorb the flavors of the seasonings.
Spicy Sichuan River CarpMade with江团鱼 as the main ingredient, stir-fried with chili peppers, Sichuan peppercorns, ginger, garlic, scallions, and other seasonings. First, clean and blanch the江团鱼, then sauté the seasonings in hot oil, add water and seasonings, simmer until tender, and finally reduce the sauce.
Spicy Hot Pot BaseSpicy hot pot base is primarily made from beef tallow, chili peppers, and Sichuan peppercorns, stir-fried with fermented broad bean paste, ginger, garlic, scallions, and other spices. The ingredients are simmered to create a rich, flavorful broth, ideal for dipping various ingredients for cooking.
Reviews
- amber_waspThis place on Feng Guan Road has been around for over ten years and they're all about the grilled fish — and honestly, the flavor is legit. Their signature spicy and Sichuan pepper grilled fish are super popular, the fish is tender and the side veggies soak up all the flavor really well. My friend and I split a two-jin grass carp between us and the portion was just right, plus they gave us some ice jelly on the house which was perfect for cooling down the spice. The vibe is more fast-casual, clean and tidy, with free parking right out front and a shopping center across the street so it's super convenient. Service was nothing fancy but everyone was really friendly and welcoming. Came for lunch once and they even gave us free watermelon. Overall it's a solid old-school spot with great flavor and awesome value, perfect for hanging out with friends when you're craving something tasty.
