Reviews
- drowsy_toadWent here with my bestie last weekend for a little get-together at this Japanese hotpot buffet spot in Oriental Plaza, and honestly it was a really solid experience. It's tucked in the northwest corner of the mall on B1, super easy to find, and the place is pretty spacious so we didn't have to wait at all. We went with the classic sukiyaki pot and the Japanese curry broth — both were rich and flavorful, not spicy at all, which is perfect if you're not into spicy food. The meat was honestly great, the beef shoulder and beef chuck had that nice mix of fat and lean and came in nice big slices, and the shrimp paste and cuttlefish paste in the seafood section were the real deal, you can tell they didn't skimp. The veggie and mushroom platter at the self-serve bar looked like it had been picked carefully, everything was super fresh. For dessert definitely go for the crème brûlée pudding and the matcha almond tofu — such a good way to end the meal. Service was quick too, stuff came out fast and the staff was on it. The vibe is warm yellow Japanese-style lighting, nice and quiet, really comfortable. Price per person is a great deal, perfect for a hangout with 3-4 friends or a family dinner. Definitely worth checking out!!
