- snuggly_hummingbirdIt was the 8th day of Chinese New Year and like half the restaurants around Friendship Hospital were closed, I was starving and just wanted something quick. Spotted the takeout window at Honglian Roast Duck and saw they had rou jia mo (Chinese-style pulled pork sandwich basically) for like less than a buck, figured it'd be one of those tiny cheap ones with barely any meat inside. But nooo, it was actually a pretty solid-sized sandwich! The bun was super crispy and flaky and they stuffed a ton of meat in there. Tasted really good too. Only thing is the very last couple bites were just bun and got a bit greasy so I skipped those, but otherwise it totally filled me up. Value for money though?? Honestly blew my mind. Such a steal, had to leave a good review for that alone lol. (And yes the photo is after I'd already taken a few bites, oops.) Hope this helps anyone in the area looking for a cheap quick bite!
