- spiky_pantherHad an amazing meal at this Chaoshan beef hotpot place near Shuangyushu. These spots are popping up everywhere now and this one definitely lives up to the hype. The place was clean and the staff were super friendly and attentive. The beef is sliced fresh right in front of you at the open counter — the hanging tender and the tender cuts were both so fresh, literally just a few seconds in the pot and they're done, melt-in-your-mouth tender. The beef bone broth was rich and fragrant, had a bowl before diving into the hotpot and it felt so comforting. The hand-beaten beef balls were bouncy and burst with juice when you bit in. Tons of options at the sauce bar too. Overall the ingredient quality was on point, super authentic Chaoshan flavors. It was pretty packed at lunchtime. The manager even added me to their membership group at the end to share deals. Honestly gonna be back soon!
