Reviews
- butterscotch_daffodilThis place is honestly a hidden gem for anyone who loves Japanese food!! It's tucked inside a building on Tianze Road — walk in and on your left you've got the busy dining area, and on the right there's this little Japanese seafood market where you can actually pick out your own sashimi straight from the cooler. They'll slice it up right there for you which is such a cool experience. The wildest part was this whole bluefin tuna just sitting right in front of us, and the medium fatty tuna and akami were all-you-can-eat. The servers kept coming over asking if we wanted more, which was really generous. Sashimi quality is no joke — everything's cut super thick, the toro was so fatty it basically melted in your mouth, and for under 100 kuai?! Such a good deal. Besides the sashimi, the grilled squid was cooked perfectly, great beer snack. And can we talk about the free miso soup — there's actually real fish in it, super tasty. Whole vibe is lively and fun, perfect for hanging out with friends. We went on a weekday evening and it was pretty packed so I'd say get there a bit early.
