Reviews
- mini_black_riceThis noodle spot is tucked away in a little alley, super easy to miss but totally worth finding. The place was clean and cozy, and there's a little courtyard out front which was such a nice surprise. We sat out there and just took our time. I got the spicy pork noodles with the orchid dried tofu. Oh man, the noodles had that perfect chewy bite, and the spicy minced pork was coating every strand. The dried tofu had soaked up all the braising liquid so it was super flavorful with every bite. And the pickled mustard greens added just the right salty-savory punch without taking over the pork flavor. Everything together was honestly so good. They also had yellow soybean paste buns and tiger-skin eggs on the menu that I didn't try this time but I'm definitely coming back for. The spice level had a real kick to it but it wasn't harsh or overpowering, and it made the whole bowl super satisfying. Definitely gonna be back next time I'm in Beijing.
