- winter_falconHonestly one of the best meals I had in Beijing. The charcoal copper pot broth was so rich and fragrant, and the lamb slices were paper thin — literally see-through. Swished them in the broth for a few seconds and dipped them in that sesame paste sauce, omg, the flavor just exploded in my mouth. The sesame dipping sauce is a must, and the live shrimp and fresh-cut lamb tenderloin were amazing too, so many layers of texture. The place itself was really clean, tables nicely spaced out, and the staff was super quick and on top of things. Oh and the grilled meat was fresh-marinated to order, super juicy and slightly charred, and the pickled cabbage on the side cut through the richness perfectly. Overall just a solid, filling meal — perfect for hanging out with friends. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town.
