Reviews
- itty_octopusGot the new spring menu items and honestly? Total vibe shift from the cold weather outside — felt like a little Thailand trip in the middle of Beijing. Tried both new burgers and I'm kinda obsessed. The "Thai Wave" chicken cutlet burger is the green one — green curry flavor, and yeah the sauce is literally green lol. Super thick, hand-breaded chicken cutlet (check the pics, the size is wild), slathered in this coconutty Thai green curry sauce, with fresh lettuce and a nice soft bun. The chicken was juicy and thick, not dry at all, and the curry is mildly spicy, not overpowering, with a really nice mellow coconut thing going on. Genuinely delicious. Then there's the "Thai Fighter" pad kaprao pork burger — double pork cutlets plus a layer of basil pad kaprao chicken sauce, so three layers of meat basically. The pad kaprao sauce has that real wok hei char flavor, the basil comes through strong, and the pork is nicely seared and stays juicy. Savory, a little spicy, totally nails that pad kaprao over rice vibe. Heads up though, it IS on the spicier side, like actually had me reaching for my drink. If you want a cleaner, more coconutty curry experience, go for the Thai Wave. If you're craving something bold, savory, and spicy, the Thai Fighter is your move. Pair the Wave with a Thai milk tea shaved ice to cut the richness, and pair the Fighter with a Coke Zero to tame the heat. Both are solid, gonna be back for sure.
