- harvest_lobsterThis old-school seafood place on Fuchengmenwai Street is super easy to get to. The shrimp and fish are all live and freshly pulled from the tank — you can really taste the freshness. Definitely try the prawns, they're sweet and not fishy at all. Their signature garlic chicken is amazing, the skin is crazy crispy and the inside is so juicy it practically bursts when you bite in, and the sweet and sour dipping sauce on the side is perfect. The garlic vermicelli steamed scallops are so good too, the scallops are plump and the noodles soak up all that flavor. The vibe is kinda hotel-style, really nice and clean. The servers were clearly busy but still super friendly and helped us out with everything throughout the meal. The set menu is a great deal — stuff like the ginger and scallion baked lobster and the rice cake crab are all included, and it's perfect for hanging out with friends or family dinners. And on top of that I got like half off, so it felt like a total steal. Honestly the ingredients, the flavor, the service, the whole atmosphere — everything was on point. Solid pick if you need somewhere reliable to treat someone.
