They're using really nicely marbled lamb, not too fatty not too lean, and it's super juicy and tender with zero gamey taste. The cumin and chili seasoning is perfect, salty and just a little spicy, the more you chew the more you want. You can tell they know what they're doing on the grill, every skewer comes out with that nice charred outside and juicy inside. Honestly some of the best lamb skewers I've had. The skewers are pretty big too and the meat is in solid chunks, good quality. The vibe: the place isn't huge but it's clean and tidy, pretty nice for what it is. The service: all the staff are Xinjiang folks, which is cool for authenticity, though there was a tiny bit of a language barrier. They actually forgot to bring out one of the rice cake skewers and we only noticed after we'd paid. They sorted it out super quick though, no drama, so overall still pretty good. Value: me and my friend spent around 200-something yuan for two people, which feels pretty reasonable for the amount of food you get. Not the cheapest spot but definitely worth it for the quality.
