Reviews
- Blair_16Okay so the star of the show here is definitely their hand-beaten beef balls (shou da niu rou wan) — and wow, they live up to the hype. Like, you can tell they're hand-pounded because the texture is super bouncy and springy, and when you bite into them they literally burst with juice. So satisfying. The dipping sauce they give you is really good too, especially the sour-numbing one and the spicy strip flavor. Honestly the flavor combo hits on so many levels, couldn't stop eating. Their beef tallow hotpot base just gets better the longer it simmers — more and more fragrant as you go. Ingredients were fresh, the tripe and the tender beef were both crazy smooth and tender. You can tell the meat quality is legit. Service was great too. The staff kept topping up our sour plum juice without us even asking, which was a nice touch. Whole experience was really comfortable, left feeling super happy. Definitely coming back.
