Reviews
- elegant_teffThis place, Hao Sao's farmhouse-style knife-cut noodles, is on Lugu South Road right next to Banyue Garden Park, super easy to find. It's a long-running chain that just got renovated and honestly looks really clean and stylish now. The pork trotters are hands down the star of the menu — they come out warm, super soft and juicy, packed with collagen. Got the small portion and it was plenty for one person, and when it cooled down it actually stuck to the plate, lol. Goes amazing with baijiu or wrapped in a thin pancake. The braised pork ribs with green beans and steamed rolls were really solid too — the ribs were fragrant, the rolls had a nice chewy bite, and the seasoning was just right. The noodles are properly chewy and they've got a ton of sauce/topping options to pick from, kinda gives you that home-cooked neighborhood kitchen vibe. Service deserves a shoutout — the staff were quick, super friendly, and actually went out of their way to heat up soy milk for an elderly customer. Portions are generous, place is packed, so you might have to wait during peak hours. Definitely a solid affordable spot that the locals keep coming back to. I'll be back for sure.
