Reviews
- misfit_viperThis place is tucked away in a hutong alley and serves Cantonese hotpot, which I didn't expect to find here honestly. They have a bunch of broth options but the golden broth with fish maw and chicken is the one to get — it simmers for 8 hours and gets super thick and collagen-rich without being greasy. The hand-sliced beef and seafood were both really fresh, like you can literally see the quality. No MSG in the broth either which is always a plus. The vibe inside is super cozy, very much that old Beijing hutong charm with all the local life happening around you. Great spot for hanging out with friends. The dipping sauces and side dishes are done really well too — the secret satay sauce especially, salty and savory with just a hint of sweetness, and it goes crazy with the crispy grass carp slices. Definitely coming back.
