Reviews
- compact_camelliaThe sake steamed abalone was super tender and packed with flavor, and that special abalone liver sauce on the side was honestly insane — the sake and the sweet brininess played off each other so well. Then there was this snow crab with a sour jelly thing that I wasn't sure about at first but it totally worked, the crab was sweet and fresh and that tangy jelly cut right through the richness. Little lotus flower petals on top gave it such a pretty summer vibe too. The sushi was all really fresh, especially the salt-grilled bluefin (I think?) sushi, the fish was super delicate and the sear on it was literally perfect. And the pacing of the whole meal was great, every course was a little surprise. The space itself is gorgeous and the bar counter has an awesome view — you can watch the chefs work right in front of you which makes it way more fun. Definitely coming back.
