Reviews
- cultured_albatrossYunnan passion fruit sour soup hotpot — omg, this was such a vibe!! The broth is the star here, passion fruit as the base mixed with that classic Yunnan sour-spicy thing, and wow it smells incredible when it starts bubbling. Had to sip a little before throwing anything in, super tangy and fruity, really got my appetite going. The lake fish was amazing — super fresh, sliced right there, no bones at all, and it kinda soaked up that fruity broth so every bite had this sweet-savory thing going on. Silky and juicy, honestly one of the best fish dishes I've had in a while. The baked Yunnan tofu was wild. Crispy outside, soft gooey inside, and when you bite in the hot lava-like center just explodes in your mouth. Mix that with the sour broth and it's like flavor fireworks. So good. The rice noodles were perfect for soaking up all that broth at the end — proper Yunnan-style thin noodles, nice and chewy, totally slurpable. And they had this free self-serve yam thing that was crunchy and sweet, perfect for resetting your palate between bites so the spice doesn't kill you. The vibe was bright and open, warm lighting with wood tables, really chill and clean, great for hanging with friends or bringing family. Music was soft — kinda Yunnan folk or jazz in the background — loud enough to set the mood but you could still talk easy. Service was on point too. Staff came over fast, helped cook stuff, adjusted the heat for us, kept refilling the broth. Little things like that make a difference, honestly felt really taken care of. Definitely coming back!!
