Reviews
- skinny_sequoiaJust had dinner here with my family and honestly really liked it. They just renovated the place so it feels fresh and comfy inside, and they've got a ton of private rooms which is perfect for a family meal. The seafood is honestly the star — the deep sea yellow croaker was so fresh, the flesh came apart in these perfect garlic-clove-like pieces and zero fishy smell at all. The braised river eel was super flavorful and those single-clove garlic things they served with it were so soft and sticky, kinda amazing. Pretty much everything we ordered was solid — classic dishes like the oil-burst shrimp and the braised pork belly were done really authentically, didn't hit a single bad dish the whole night. Service was great too, our server Xiao Wei and the manager Zuo Fei were both super attentive, and I noticed they actually brought over a cushion for the pregnant lady at our table without her even asking. It's on the 3rd floor of Bailian Lingyi Plaza, parking was easy and the bill was a breeze. Price per person is really fair for what you get, definitely gonna be our go-to for proper Shanghainese food and seafood in the Pudong area.
