Reviews
- sunny_crowBesides the seafood, their signature dishes are definitely worth a try too. The fried dough sticks come out super golden and crispy — honestly amazing on their own, but they're also amazing soaked in the congee. The roast goose was the highlight, skin nice and crispy with really flavorful meat, and the plum sauce on the side cuts through the richness perfectly. If it's your first time doing the congee hotpot thing, try going in a chicken → seafood → congee order, you really get to taste all the different layers of flavor. The decor has a kinda Lingnan vibe going on, super nice for hanging out with friends or bringing family to try something new. Heads up though, the place is inside a parking lot, way easier to come in through the back door so you don't end up wandering around lost like I did. Overall the ingredients are super fresh and the flavor is on point, definitely one of the better spots around Huilongguan if you're craving a different kind of hotpot.
