The self-serve station has fruit, snacks, and rice that you can just keep going back for, and the whole meal was only like 50-something kuai per person — totally doable on a student budget. We ordered the garlic prawns and oh my god, these things were HUGE, like each one was completely smothered in this golden garlic paste, the meat was super firm and sweet, and the garlic sauce was so good I genuinely wanted to pour it over my rice. We also tried this little hack where you dunk the prawns into the grilled fish broth and it just doubles the spice and soaks up all that fish flavor, super addictive. The night market vibes go till midnight, they’ve got crayfish and grilled skewers with beer for like 3 kuai a bottle, honestly perfect for a summer late-night bite. Service was really thoughtful too, they walked us through the menu when we ordered and even brought over aprons and hair ties halfway through so we didn’t stink up our clothes. All around such a fun spot, great for hanging out with friends.
