- restless_sequoiaThis Luckin on Dongdan North Street is super easy to find — right across from Peking Union Medical College Hospital and next to Wangfujing bookstore, which I actually wandered into after my coffee. The spot itself has two floors and the second floor is where it's at. They've got booth seating and this whole wall of medical books (kinda random but it works), plus you can see the street from up there. Oh and the coolest part — there are four old wells under glass cases inside the store. Like actual ancient wells just sitting in the middle of a coffee shop. Gave it a real sense of history, I loved that detail. Coffee came out fast and the staff were on point, no waiting around. I got the coconut latte which is their classic for a reason — super rich and coconutty. They also had a seasonal one with salted butter that was ridiculously smooth. Good spot if you're just passing through, waiting for someone, or honestly if you just want a quiet corner to read. I'd come back for sure.
