- flourishing_jacarandaThe foie gras hand roll was grilled just right — outside a little crispy, inside silky like a mousse, and paired with the sushi rice and seaweed it had so many layers going on. The tuna sushi with the red wine foie gras crumbs on top literally looked like snow on the fish, and it melted the second it hit my mouth. Creamy and fresh at the same time, super balanced. Everything tasted really fresh, especially the lean tuna — super smooth and you could really taste the sweetness. The sushi chef was making each piece right in front of us and the rice had just the right amount of tang, everything worked really well together. Service was also on point, they explained the ingredients and how each thing was made, which was a nice touch. Honestly ate my heart out here.
