Reviews
- astute_aniseAmazing yakiniku spot! The vibe is really cool — all black decor with these flame-orange accents that give it a sleek, upscale feel. We sat in a little private room which was perfect, super cozy and felt pretty fancy. Service was great too, they walked us through the menu without being pushy at all, left us alone to enjoy our meal. And they gave us these cute little keychains, plus a tiny mirror and notebook — and since it was Girls' Day they even brought out pistachio ice cream, which was such a sweet touch! We got the "9-meat combo platter" and wow, the quality really speaks for itself even without dipping sauce. Went with 7/10 doneness and the meat was so tender and juicy. They had two dipping sauces, one kinda like a sauce and one dry, both super tasty in different ways. The "Japanese-style fresh veggie salad" had a nice mix of greens plus strawberries and blueberries with a vinaigrette — really refreshing and a bit tangy. Then the "tempura beef shiso roll" was killer, super crispy outside with a whole slice of beef inside, dipped in the chili powder it was so good. Garlic beef fried rice was solid, every grain was separate and you could really taste that wok hei charcoal flavor, though it was a touch salty. And the pumpkin porridge and miso soup were both really comforting and tasty. Definitely coming back!
