  Okay so I was honestly really impressed with this place. I ordered the oat noodles and they were just as good as always, super consistent texture. But the star of the show for me was this zongzi style braised beef short rib dish — wow, the way the bamboo leaf flavor mixed with that rich beef sauce was just perfect, tender but still had a nice bite to it. And the grilled lamb skewers?? Best I've had in Beijing, no contest. They use grassland baby lamb so it's super tender and juicy, nicely charred on the outside. Oh and the yellow rice cold cake with osmanthus syrup was such a nice little surprise, cold and chewy, perfect for cutting through all that richness on a hot day. Service was really attentive, food came out fast too which is always a plus. The space is big and bright, great for bringing the family or a group. Definitely coming back.
