- sage_wolverineFound a pretty affordable spot in Tiantongyuan the other day. Got the bullfrog double combo hotpot for only 148 yuan and it was plenty for two people. The spicy bullfrog was super flavorful, like seriously spicy in the best way, and you get to pick your own side veggies which is a nice touch. Also tried the grilled fish and wow the rattan pepper one was so fragrant, totally recommend it. Place was pretty packed when we went so I guess everyone else knows about this deal too. Service was solid, food came out fast, and yeah it's not fancy or anything but it's clean and tidy. Good pick for hanging out with friends.
