Reviews
- magnetic_dolphinFound this new Cantonese claypot congee place on the 4th floor of the Wukesong Wanda mall and I'm so glad we tried it. Super clean and spacious inside, with enough room between tables that you're not sitting on top of strangers. The vibe is really nice too. Service was great — the manager came over and walked us through the menu and told us about some deals, which was a nice touch. Food came out fast as well. Okay the seafood congee is the star for sure. Loaded with crab roe, super fresh, tons of stuff in it. The oyster omelette was golden and crispy with a crazy amount of oysters in there. And the red rice shrimp rice noodle rolls were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, with these bouncy fresh shrimp. We also tried the three-cup chicken and the claypot pork ribs — both solid. The chicken was really flavorful and the meat was firm, not mushy at all. Honestly everything was tasty and would work for anyone, kids or older folks. Portions were just right, we left really happy. If you live nearby, I heard you can get a membership card with some discounts, which seems like a good deal. Weekends the mall gets packed but somehow this place still isn't busy, so you can actually just walk in and sit down without the wait. Definitely coming back.
