Reviews
- ornate_griffinThe dim sum here is why I keep coming back. Good variety too — turnip cake is crispy outside and soft inside, and the snow shadow char siu bao has a pastry that flakes off the moment you touch it. You can also get dim sum to go, which is super convenient. But heads up if you're here mainly for the HK hotpot — skip weekend dinner rush or you'll be waiting forever for the popular broth bases. Also, even though they have lots of seafood options, if you're not into the really pricey live stuff, just sticking with regular hotpot items and dim sum keeps the bill way more reasonable. Staff are always friendly without being overbearing, which I really appreciate.

- boundless_nettleHands down one of the most legit Cantonese hotpot and dim sum spots in Beijing. The signature gold medal chicken with fish maw pot is the real deal — super rich broth and tender chicken. Dim sum quality holds up nicely, shrimp dumplings have thin skins and fresh filling, and the red rice rolls with sesame sauce are a fun twist. The retro HK-style decor is pretty chill and not too loud, works well for catching up with friends or a family meal. For two people, one hotpot plus a couple dim sum dishes is plenty — not bad on the wallet either. It's on Xi Da Wang Lu in the Winterless Center with parking out front, pretty convenient. Solid all around, definitely a regular spot for Cantonese food.

- peridot_peace_lilyThe vibe here screams Hong Kong cha chaan teng — all the red decor makes you feel like you're in a movie scene. Tried the red rice cheung fun, the skin's got a nice glossy red look and the shrimp inside is super tender, plus a crispy filling that adds great texture. The crispy grass carp slices are cut thin and cook in seconds, really crunchy with the seafood dipping sauce. Chicken feet in black bean sauce were fall-off-the-bone tender and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh, service was on point, I'd come back for sure.
