Reviews
- goofy_cashewFound this little place tucked into a random residential neighborhood, totally not a spot you'd notice walking by. Walked in around lunch and it was just me and the two staff working — honestly thought I'd made a mistake. SO glad I stayed though. They mainly do coffee and cocktails but the food was honestly better than half those trendy Western restaurants flooding the city right now. The food — every single dish we ordered had so much thought behind it. None of that pre-made, made-for-Instagram nonsense. Everything actually had real flavor. Portions were medium, not those huge plates of pretty but bland food. Got the basil pesto pasta and the noodles were cooked perfectly al dente, sauce was just right — not too heavy, not too oily, flavors really came through. Vibe was super chill and quiet, clean, not crowded. The decor has actual taste to it, and the music fits the mood perfectly. Dim lighting with nice lamps everywhere so you can actually focus on your food and your company without feeling rushed. Service was really thoughtful too — when they brought dishes out they explained how everything was made and any little things to know. They're super serious about their own quality. Like I thought my coffee was great but they weren't happy with the latte art on it. That's the kind of place this is. Would absolutely come back. If you're in the area, don't sleep on it.
