Reviews
- aqua_jasmineThis old Beijing hotpot place right by the Liangma River near Solana was honestly as good as all the hype suggests — I get why it's always on the must-eat lists. We paid just over 100 per person and left totally stuffed, which is kinda wild for this kind of spot. The food was the real star though. The fresh-sliced beef and the half side of cloud lamb were super thick-cut and really good quality, perfect ratio of fat to lean. The sesame paste dipping sauce was legit — rich, nutty, the real deal, and honestly it makes the whole hotpot experience. The vibe is super retro and old-school, kinda nostalgic, which gives it a really fun atmosphere for a casual hang with friends. Service was on point too — food came out fast, and they actually brought us a big jug of homemade sour plum juice and tanghulu on the house, which was such a nice touch. Place is huge with tons of tables, so we walked right in without waiting. Super easy to get to from Chaoyang station or just walking over from Solana. Definitely coming back.
