Reviews
- dozy_swanOkay so let me start with the good stuff — prices were really reasonable, it's Jiangnan style food, and the presentation was honestly gorgeous. Everything was on the lighter side, not too salty, which was perfect because I brought my parents. Also great for a small get-together with a couple friends. Food came out pretty fast too, which I appreciated. The restaurant itself looked really nice and clean. Oh, and the cold drink they gave us for checking in on social media was actually pretty good. Now the not-so-good stuff. There's no bathroom inside the restaurant — you have to go downstairs and across the street to the 7-Eleven area. Annoying but whatever, I can deal with that. The bigger issue was the service. When we came up from downstairs, there was a staff member right there with their back to us, busy doing something else, and didn't even say hi or gesture us to go upstairs. Like we were invisible. Then once we got upstairs, nobody greeted us, nobody noticed us, I had to flag down a server myself. And here's the kicker — a table that came in AFTER us got seated first. I was honestly pretty annoyed. I mentioned it and said their front-of-house service doesn't match how nice the place looks. The lady in the black uniform did apologize, and after that the service was actually solid and quick. So props for recovering. Food-wise, the dishes looked beautiful, nothing tasted bad exactly, but everything was so oily. Like after a few bites I was already feeling that greasy, heavy feeling. Really hope they cut back on the oil because it kinda ruined it for me. Also heads up on the deal — it's not 9.9 yuan for 90 yuan off, it's actually a bunch of separate coupons. You can only use one per visit. Kind of misleading honestly.
