Reviews
- blessed_coriander_seedThe meat pancake was unreal — the crust was paper thin and when I bit into it the juice just exploded everywhere. Super crispy outside, tender inside, totally addictive. We ordered five of these jingwei-style meat pancakes and got a bowl of douzhi on the side which was kinda sour but actually really good at cutting through all the grease. Right next door the candied hawthorn shop also does this sour plum drink that's worth trying. It was PACKED on the weekend so definitely go on a weekday afternoon if you wanna actually enjoy it — plus you get to watch the guys flipping the pancakes right in front of you, which was honestly so cool. The whole hutong vibe is awesome, lots of people in hanfu taking photos and it just feels super local. Definitely coming back.
