- kind_stoatFound this little coffee spot near Wangfujing and I'm so glad I wandered in. Ordered the Kyoto Sanyuan latte and the rice "dirty" coffee — both were super layered and interesting. The Kyoto one had this velvety smooth foam, with the matcha playing really nicely against the cocoa notes from the espresso, just slid right down. The rice dirty coffee was the standout for me, the toasted rice flavor came through loud and clear and paired perfectly with the rich, bold coffee. Also tried the salty dirty coffee and wow, the savory-salty thing with the creamy milk was such a cool combo, kept catching new flavors every sip. They're using single-origin beans too, which you can totally taste — clean, bright, with this nice little sweet finish at the end. Honestly really solid coffee shop, gonna be back next time I'm in the area.
