Used to always go to the old location, but this new McDonald's is on the 2nd floor of City Hill above Zhongda Station exit C1 — super easy to spot right when you come out of the subway. The space is clean and bright, window seats have a nice view, good for zoning out solo or hanging with friends. They use automated pickup lockers so food comes out fast and the fries are still crispy. Best part is the service though — staff are super friendly and happy to load up on ketchup and sweet-and-sour sauce. Solid experience overall, easy to get to, definitely a decent fast food spot in the area.

The kids' meal comes with a Tom & Jerry toy right now, my kid loved it. The place isn't huge but it gets great light, the floor-to-ceiling windows are cozy. Cool thing is you can swap the set for that green Coke cup, and the new packaging has a little blind box thing on the back you tear open — fun little touch. Gets packed on weekends though, so try off-peak. It's right above the subway, clean, convenient, with nice details — great for a quick meal with kids or grabbing a cheap set for yourself.

Met up with friends on the weekend and ordered the cheese ham steak burger set with soy milk, plus crispy hash browns and an iced latte — the combo just hits the spot. The cheese is rich, the ham is thick, super filling. The iced latte is smooth and refreshing, perfect for summer. The window seats get great sunlight, really chill for chatting over food. Hash browns are crispy outside, fluffy inside — great value too.
